Arborsist connects physical trees to digital records with NFC. Anyone can raise a safety concern in under a minute - and councils see it instantly, with full context.

Trees are tagged

Weather-resistant NFC labels are fixed to trees at standard height. Each tag carries a unique identifier linking the physical tree to its digital record - durable, passive, and readable by any modern smartphone.

Workers register each tree

Field crews scan the tag and create the record: GPS location, species, initial condition assessment and notes. The result is a live inventory of every tagged tree in the network.

The public taps to report

A member of the public taps the tag with their phone. The tree's record opens instantly - no app install, no account. If something looks wrong, they can raise a report on the spot.

Two photos, one severity rating

Each report captures a full-tree photo for context, a close-up of the concern, a written description, and a severity rating - Urgent for immediate safety risks, Informational for routine observations.

Council triages and resolves

Reports land in the management system pre-prioritised. Staff schedule inspections, assign work orders to arborists, follow up with the reporter, and close the loop - with every action tracked against the tree's record.
